Unfortunately, I'm unable to be on-line as often as I've been lately.
This will have a serious impact on my ability to stay current with new postings and other dA activities.

I apologize if I can't get to thanking everyone for Favorites and commenting on new works.
I'm not sure how long my hiatus will be.  It's a work related issue - not a good one, but it could always be worse!

dA has kept my sanity these last six months and I have everyone I've come in contact with here to thank for that.

About Llamas - I very much appreciate the thoughts behind all who gift me llama badges but for whatever failings on my part, these are better given to others.

According to Wikipedia, deviantART receives about 140,000 submissions a day.

If evenly distributed that's 5,333 submissions an hour or 97 a minute or about 1-1/2 per second.  On my computer's monitor I see 24 thumbnails on a page.  To see all the new submissions as they appear on the site's home page I'd have to refresh my screen once every 15 seconds or I'll miss some.

Every 15 seconds there's the chance that something beautiful and unique will pass by.  Mostly it's only modestly successful art work.

Photographs of nature: flowers, clouds & animals
Self portraits
Fractals and geometric patterns
Anime

It goes on forever but there's the one-in-a-hundred that's utterly stunning, original and worth waiting for.
